its 63 minutes to 2006! its time to reflect on what i've done for the year, and set new resolutions.

i worked - twice, this year.

i went into zone comp this year with my lovely team and mentors, and got 2nd.

i still can't forget my class chalet - how fantastic it was, all the bonding times we had.

i picked up roller-blading and volleyball this year.

i started wearing contacts this year.

(: my whole sqd went through JNCO this yr, and we love each other.

yeah tht's about all i can rmb. this year has been a year for growth, and i realised a lot of bad points abt myself, and i resolve to change! then um, my new yr resolutions!

I went to my old hse area today to do a little bit of shopping! my intention was actually to buy contacts, haha. i'm kind of reluctant to ditch dailies because they're so damn comfortable!

then i decided to cut my hair, new year, new hair? haha. i passed by so many salons, but every single one of them was filled with people! i arrived at one salon which had less customers, but all of them were doing things like perming and rebonding so the hairstylists couldn't attend to me.

then i went to nulook, this not bad salon ( i heard). they were only cutting for 14 dollars, so i went in and BHAM! great disappointment again cos the person there told me i had to wait for 1 HOUR before they could attend to me. ARGH.

so i decided not to cut my hair anymore and went to the 183 market area to buy pizza hut for lunch. (: then on my way to the pizza hut i passed by this hair salon tht was newly opened, and inside was only 2 customers. they cut 8 for students, and 16 for wash plus cut, and i decided to wash too!

the massage they gave was super comfortable. they even did an extensive massaging of the shoulder, neck and back! they even served chrysanthemum tea, and had this small lcd tv for every customer! very good! i was watching the repeat of star idol and then i switched to just for laughs.

i like my hair now. i asked my hairdresser to retain the length and thin it. so my ponytail is thin now! (: yay. i am gna work towards having long hair, although it is so bloody common.

orientation prep today!

RAH! i was super angry with my squad this morning. ytd before we were dismissed i heard sir samuel say fall in in full uniform, so i wore full uniform and walked out of my house to meet cheryl. and then, the problems started coming. tiffany smsed me and asked if i was wearing HALF UNIFORM. and i was like, HUH? then she said is wear half uniform not full. so i went home and changed into my half uniform and brought my full uniform with me.

then, i met with cheryl, who also wore full uniform, which is wrong. then we took her car and went back to her house because she came to tampines to fetch me to sch. then while i was in the car, i received another msg from yahui.

SHE SAID MUST WEAR SQD TEE AS HALF UNIFORM! and bloody hell i was wearing corp tee can. ): miscommunication! cos ytd when they decided wht to wear me and cheryl were busy claiming the ctc money and they never bothered to repeat the msg or tell us. RAH!

we finally got the photo cds today! i particularly like one shot.

i came back from ctc yesterday late in the night! (:

rmb i told you i kinda dreaded ctc? turns out tht my opinion changed!

i met yahui and daphne at tampines mrt at arnd 10! then we went to ntuc to buy the essentials for our salad. YAHUI IS DAMN MAFAN! haha. when we were choosing the fruits, she kept gng 'eh tht one looks rotten leh' so we decided we'll let her be our QC. everything we buy must go through her for quality check!

haha. then we came to my house! we were freaking noobs at cooking. we don't even knw whether we sld stir-fry or deep-fry the hotdogs! luckily cheryl came to the rescue and cooked delicious hotdogs! (: yumyum. we sneaked a few into our mouths though.

arrived there via taxi! it was kinda raining heavily. luckily, i bought a HUGE umbrella! the rain lightened after a while and there was even sun! then qp and pn suddenly ask us to gather, then they told us tht we're having a FA case at the beach! ( SCREAM! ) then walau, they grabbed us and pulled us into the water! ): i got pulled by qp. HAHA. then they said got no case la. (:

then we started the games! i was supposed to be in grp 3 but i ended up in grp 2 instead cos grp 2 not enough ppl. whee! we played frisbee and captain ball, and we WON ALL MATCHES! we rock. (: i think i was rather annoying cos i kept screaming. but its all naturale!

we even won the match against seniors! (: the games was rather fun. there was the balloon in the water game, and i burst qp's pink balloon! then for tht she said she wld have me run 1000 times arnd the pillar! SOB!

then potluck! (: haha i mainly ate spaghetti and our own hotdogs! we even got kinder bouenos from qp and pn! but my toy is FUGLY, according to pn. ): haha. but i liked it nevertheless. i like the chocolate more!

it was jianhui's birthday too! we got a slice of his bdae cake, and omg it was damn chocolately. HAHA. i kinda finished it myself cos yahui and cheryl didn't want it anymore.

i went working at punggol today!

haha. my second job. this time with much lower pay, lol. we met at bedok at 9 then the guy's car to punggol. haha. there were two guys. i can tell you me tiffany and qingyi were positively scared tht they wld whisk us off to some ulu place then rape us! too much negative tv influence! ):

haha. we arrived safely. qingyi is damn kiasu. she even got her mum to call her regularly so tht her mum wld knw whether she's safe or not! (: the flyers were for some sort of cleaning serivce. we were seperated from each other, each of us got an area of our own, and an area consisted of abt 10 blocks!

it was such an experience! went to the topmost storey and went slowly downwards. i changed so many styles of stuffing the flyer! haha. my bag was such a pleasure to carry arnd. (: luckily i took a sling and not a tote! much more comfortable.

i think i managed to make arnd 40 today. we even got 4 bucks for lunch! we went eating out at compass point. my first time there. deprived? haha. we talked a lot 'bout our own flyer experience and jnco! (:

suprisingly i still rmb where each and every single momento came from, and why, yada yada. i still kept several christmas cards tht came in 2002! (: haha i was laughing like crazy when i read the postcard tht geraldine gave me at the end of this year.

i went down to cold storage! lots of people were doing christmas shopping, the line there was uber long. then when i went inside 7-11 to pay for my uncle's phone bills, there was this guy who was clogging up the line like crazy.

apparently he didn't have enough money. then he was damn stupid and bought 3 boxes of condoms, 3 lubricants and 5 bars of chocolate. then when he found the totaled price was beyond wht he had, he slowly asked the cashier to read out the price of every single item and see wht was the maximum number of items he could buy without ove spending.

he probably spent like, 15 BLOODY minutes at the cashier. and all the shoppers queuing up and the cashier herself was damn annoyed. HAHA. he bought durex tropical. i think um, its a new flavour?

i bought this mature looking tote for cheryl! haha. its pink and has tht mature look, but i guess cheryl can pull it off. its her christmas present. she bought me something i fell in love with at first sight! its this necklace, or something, with a SUPER LONG chain, and a mickey at each end. there's no latch for you to hook it together with, you just have to put the smaller mickey through the bigger mickey!

no idea wht i'm talking abt? (: gee never mind. i'm just glad i got it although it wasn't PERFECT. it was decorated with diamonds and two of them fell off! but because of tht i got a five dollar cut frm the original price! (:

i bought 3 pairs of earrings! all mainly studs. i figured danglings are such a hassle. i found tht a lot of shops are selling MICKEY related stuff! i intend to get a whole set of mickey accessories haha.

then we went down to the basement of tampines mall! i never realised tht it has been revamped, and everything there is so nice now.. omg the food there is fantastic. i ate 10 satays! delicious. (: mwaha.

i'm back from the public duty at dhs! ah, finally! it was a gruelling 4 hours there at school to do public duty for the sec 1 orientation. i've seen people selling sports shoes! and i think the school's letting loose on the rules, seems like they've allowed more colours and stuff. (:

today's pd was a slack one. i was paired with tienleng and yahui with pingyen. me and tienleng had nothing to do and we were quite bored so we started talking about jnco and all tht, haha, quite an enlightening and light-hearted talk.

and i did. and i almost let go of the stretcher. the head, was A LOT A LOT heavier than the middle, which was sth i didn't expect.

another day of training for jnco in school today. four straight hours. samuel still hasn't come for training yet, and only the naive seniors would stupidly believe his dumb excuse of his just-removed toenail. such an unfortunate thing tht he has ended up in my group! but cannot, must motivate him. haha. aren't i good?

daphne is to represent our group for the passing of the group flag! its said to be a very honourable thing. cheehoe gave some dumb excuse tht daphne smile a lot during drill and this would be a good practise to ditch tht habit. like, PLEASE. i send you go sea games to swim because your googles very cool okay?

yay! after training we went to the tampines 800 plus area to shop for shorts. we need 5 pairs for the camp and i only got a measly 2. so i bought three pairs, for ten dollars. pretty nice and the material is quite thin but comfortable and tht's all tht matters! the white shirt is simply too thin so maybe i shall buy more pe shirts.

we bought bubble tea at 80 cents. (: and we sat down adn talked and talked, and laughed and laughed like crazy.

oh man, fun fun.
i dislike my squad because i did not go for the meeting in school today.

grace went along too. rusty's improved! (: hes more daring and trotty now. woohoo! then all of us played line catching! cheryl is very lousy, she cant catch us. but its tough also, cos me and grace is too smart for her.

'lright, i was just sort of crapping. i haven't blogged for a whole 2 days!

on thursday i went to my new house to help with the paint my room! the colour's baby pink. gentle, and lovely. the framing's blue. my room just exludes this fluffy and cosy feeling! mmm!

we managed to clean up a bit before calling it a day. then it started pouring when i rode home on my bike. ):

today's been more crazed. jnco trng session today. i don't knw how i felt during trng, and i don't wish to talk abt it either.

after tht cheryl's dad fetched me charlene and cheryl to IKEA. whooping big place! many many people, trolleys, all the furniture! oops, i'm starting to sound like a country bumpkin.

yay! i finally got the things on my shopping list. most of them are just simple furniture, and i unexpectedly brought myself a clock! i wonder if it'll last though, its pretty cheap, but it has a two year warranty so i'm holding on to the receipt like its some sort of treasure!

bought about 60 dollars worth of stuff. i put the HUGE and BULKY stuff into 3 plastic bags and we took one each.

went home finally in a cab because the things were really heavy and i think we would have looked stupid walking arnd with it.
