POP's finally over.

all the planning, worrying, has finally. & i guess, no one except our sqd truly knows how much we've actually done, but i guess most impt is tht the std4s enjoy it. :D

the day started with us arriving super early in school to finish up the voodoo dolls and finishing up loose ends. we were quite worried smth wld screw, but our worries were quite unfounded in the end. after the std1&2s fell in arnd 1.30 in the afternoon, we split up into different groups to do canteen hall & AVT. luckily for us becuase we arrived in sch early AVT was alr mostly done, so we only had to decorate the board. (: i think AVT's a very sweet suprise!

everything was mostly to our schedule until parade's supposed to start, a bit screwd but everything became okay in the end. some sucker was shouting stupid stuff from the hostel during the parade. when the std4s went for their march off & 'chi bang' started playing it was so sad & somehow i started tearing. ):

during the parade i cld wondering if the caterer arrived, wondering if the bar's done, the drinks poured, the PA system set up, a lot of things haha. it was SUCH A PITY i only managed to squeeze enough time to eat 2 tofus out of the great food we got from the caterer. none of us ate much & i guess all of us were really hungry.

hall was beautiful because of the disco lights and disco ball. god i love the ball. haha. during social night we had so many things to change & arrange la. so MAFAN. what the lights too intense. its supposed to be like tht wht. try so hard to create the effect, then they say too intense. -.-

gave out the presents and the flowers to grace. (: it was sweet.. haha and then i started crying cos it was so touching. & then cheryl say i guailan cos when we lost nationals i didn't cry at all but then now cry. the std4s looked great on social night loh. haha.

the cake was nice but we had not much time to enjoy it. aft changing and claning up we returned to our bunks and didn't sleep till anrd 3 plus cos we were planning for cleaning up & such.. all of us were exhausted..

cleaning up went esp well and we finished in 30 minutes. super suprising. had photo taking. you know i arrived home today arnd 1, and i slept all the way to 9pm. haha. dont think i can sleep tonight alr.

POP's been great (despite all the exhaustion), i hope we get an equally good one next yr. :D
god i'm so zonked. reached home at 10 plus, & i havent prepared the gifts. (:

anyways today was super busy i swear. we did so many things! the banner, gifts, door gifts, drinks, abit of hall deco & all tht. gosh it was really really tiring running around but it was a nice feeling to be working tgth for POP.

& putting up the hall deco was really the best part of the day. shan't say what it is in order not to spoil the fun, but it was seriously beautiful when the lights shined on *it and it was like star-gazing. haha.

i need new songs to feed my appetite, POP's the day after tmr & we have to many many many sucking things we haven't settled and finished. YAY i love staying over in school.

while walking past a carpark (those a building by itself type) this morning, i actually heard long piteous cries tht sounded like it came from a young child/baby. i guess if it was anything human it wld have been more of a young kid. i actually jumped! it was so scary. at first i was like 'maybe its a cat or smth' but it cldnt have been because it sounded.. so human.

& just now when coming home i was wondering why so many people were gathered at the grass area lighting candles. then holycrap i rmbed today's the start of hungry ghost festival! then i thought of the morning incident and i got goosebumps. :/

god POP's only a few days away! we'd be busy busy these few days with no extra time to spare. evrything has yet to be finalised & we're losing time. (: jiayou i believe we can do it!
something's stupidly wrong with my internet connection & it sucks. evrything loads at half-pace & i have to wait forever for pictures to load. smth like back to the days when i used dial-up.

tried looking for WaT's album in sembawang today but can't seem to find it. there were like so many sections and all are listed under 'pop rock' & i'm not exactly sure if WaT's under that? haha. the shopkeepers were busy too so i figured i'd go back another time. (x tralala i've got to get their album.

finally decided on the colour & helped shunjie to buy the ugly shirt. the cross one is sibei pretty he don't want. SIGH.

its been 7 years.

ytd was zone games day at eastview secondary!

first half of the day was games consisting of badminton, captain's ball, basketball, soccer & relay. our corp basically just sent people for fun so in the end we only got two trophies. eastviewers are such losers, for the captain ball final's, they actually sent in two guys & we got trashed. pfft.

well anyway zone games didn't end on schedule, so we only had half an hour for lunch & changing into full uniform instead of the one hour we were promised. gosh i ate the fastest lunch ever! righty pokes. so second half was SNCO course entry exam 1.

there were 4 sections, footdrill, TOC, theory exam, first aid. its unfair that guys get the upper hand since theydont test home nursing. haha. ohwell. our sqd & other sec 3 sqds from greenview, cchs, tampines, eastview & peicai were randomly split into 4 different groups. & MY GROUP 3 ROCKS!

group 3 was so good, it had me, cheryl, yahui, wanting, qingyi & shunjie. ROCK ANOT. haha. we started with theory exam and shunjie was our group IC. next up was first aid. they even tested first aid kit! PHEW luckily i'm under medic so i know a little about first aid kit since i got help daphne pack.

i passed all of first aid, and the CPR went suprisingly well. i got no choking somemore, lucky right. :D i was quite worried about treatment and diagnosis part but luckily those stuff i learnt in comp trains came in handy. i've really got sir junxiang to thank, cos he was the one who taught me the difference between hyperventilation & asthma, & the mdm ask me tht question! (x and she said, i was able to give a detailed diagnosis. HOHOHO.

footdrill was okay but the mdm's commands were like really weird, esp for drills like langkat, we always stun for one second before proceding with the drill. haha. the bangs were super lousy but cannot blame us cos all of us from different corps mah.

finally was what i dreaded most : TOC. pfft my stretcher team got no guys somemore and all of us was totally clueless about TOC! we did the best we can & i hope we at least pass. ): dont want to retake the examination.

aft the entire thing ended we headed to tampines mall for dinner but tm was so crowded! every single place where you cld have dinner was packed full so we headed for century square instead. talked over dinner about our kindergarten & nusery times. (: & stupid adelyn actually told them i wanted to be a tutu kueh woman! T.T my ambitions always get laughed at. whatshit. haha.

oh a happier & much crazier note, i spent time watching teppei's & WaT's youtube videos. GOD THEY'RE ADORABLE! Wentz got the angmoh look & he cant dance so when they attempt dancing together its hilarious. i LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE them!

i dont know what i've been doing these few days! there are things i dont want to face, things i want to see.

hana shall stop sounding emo. then i dont know what i'd blog about? er, shall start collecting red & white stuff to wear on national day? that cos i had some stupid eye infection today i didn't so sch, and maybe not tmr too? i used to be able to blog so much! my posts used to be longer, much more content & such. now i'm refraining from blogging some stuffs because of the need for privacy.

i miss the feeling of being able to stay back for volleyball and playing our ass off till the school gate closes & we have to exit through the hostel. it sucks that we have to chiong everything out for POP with the limited time. i miss the feeling of not able to be cadets anymore, and instead we have to be instructors.

when we took the std2s for the first training, seeing them do the PT was so different, it was like seeing a shadow of ourselves. & i actually felt the some sort of pain (?), because some of them really look .. exhausted. & it was really nice to see that at least some of them appreciate our efforts when i read their journals. being an instructor feels so different, it feels so faraway.

& we'd really miss the std4s when they passout, and its like POP's the last thing we can give them. & its really frightening to think that we'd screw in some way. tht day, someone in our sqd wrote on the stjohn board "things to take note of: think of any possible cock-ups & ways to solve it". its so.. heart-warming! its like we're all trying to make this work out. (:

hopped down to plaza sing today to shop for deco stuff. we only brought a bunny ears hairband for wanting in the end, the rest of the stuff we cldn't find.

well anyway did a lot of planning in school today for POP, & we decided if POP was a success its gna be a BIG SUCCESS (well hopefully). which is good, because its one of the last things we're gna do for the std4s. we'd miss them!

first training with the std2s ytd! i guess evrything went quite smoothly except for the fact tht we ended too early and so we had a lot of surplus time left. (:

SNCO entry exam 1 is on coming saturday! RAHH must study again. & oh yes i cant believe they gave us so little time to train the std1s! cover the entire first aid manual in 18 hours. yeah, man. oh, and 18 hours includes the time we have to train footdrill and evrything. how to train properly like tht? eeyer.

vballing in the night was fun ytd. haha. we stood at different spots on the playgrd and started playing vball! spastic spastic. and i reached home like 10 plus eleven. haha.

the pepper chicken was delicious! :D it was so so delicious i brought 2 packets. i'm growing fat fat fat. & like we bought smth, MAGIC WALLET mwaha. use to cheat little kids like june cos she was so fascinated by the magic wallet. /: sigh, kids nowadays. ;D

gna do my IC soon, that'd be my passport to another great membership at another VCD rental shop! then i'd be one happy 15 yr old. :D whee!

my mum's always asking, why do i have to tire myself out by stjohn? st john's not really tht impt for my future, my studies are more impt but i dont have time for it. i dont have time to sleep yada. my bio clock's gone all crazy because of stjohn.

but what can i do? what do i get in return for all tht we've given?
i'm so full! haha.

tdy we met in sch to learn the upside down dance. pfft so hard to learn can. & i'm like a super slow learner. learnt the girl part. the guy moves are too.. difficult physically. haha. the dance's nice! i think its really nice of the guys who taught us the dance. <3.

planned a little for POP also. the std 4s were like 2 doors away doing their performance. then they come ovr to peep at us! :/ eeyer then no more suprise already lor. then we go peep them they chase us away. HAHA.

finally we finished the dance, and the overall effect's pretty good. we've got some ideas for the costumes also.

nationals are over. (: great thing that our corp has such good achievements this yr though my team didn't win anything. ohwell i guess its the experience tht counts.

it was such a long and tiring day! i just so tired last night. & i have yet to tabulate my IDMI interview results, and later there's POP meeting. /:

well, tdy was last training for nats. i dont know how to feel. happy tht finally training's over, or worried about how we wld fare in the competition itself? ohwell i guess i feel both. i think we're like the worst team in corp. haha. shall stop being self-defaming.

tried going online to do the chemistry -learning thingy. it's so retarded, hate online learning whatsoever. if online learning was so good we won't need tchers would we.

ytd was mock comp, evrything was very fast-paced & we finished quite fast, no time to be in waiting room, and nats is just one week away. wasn't so nervous cos the surroundings quite familiar and evrything.. not like when you're in a totally different school & dont know anyone/anything there.

atmo wasn't there for most of the cases i think. first aid was slightly more difficult than usual comp train cases probably because the situation was harder to handle. ended arnd noon & we had lunch with our mentors. i think it was kinda awkward. ): haha.

i want to get nats done and ovr with. whether we'd deal with success or failure's another question. then then i can full concentrate on my studies. IDMI week ROCKS. :D
