Ok this part in the Holcim v Precise case made me crack up. The "unfortunately" part! Its actually not very funny bt after reading 30+ incredibly mundane pages of the case this paragraph seems so funny.

98 The averments made in the statement of claim (set out in the preceding paragraph) are obviously very different from the actual proposal (as is the Respondent’s present argument) to supply only manufactured sand. Indeed, we surmise that the Judge was (unfortunately) under the (erroneous) impression that the Respondent was making an argument based on the former (as opposed to the latter), as it was stated in the Judgment that the Respondent had offered to supply sand to the Appellant (see [17] and [53] of the Judgment), in which no mention was made of manufactured sand. We add here, parenthically, that the Respondent had not pleaded that an offer of manufactured sand constituted a fair and reasonable offer.

Recess week is here!! And much as I would love to say it like Recess week is here!! :D it is definitely more like Recess week is here!! T.T NTU sucks, I think. When they say recess week they made it sound so lovely and then they put all the deadlines for assignments and quizzes just the week after recess week. It is hardly a recess! Ugh.

I have have to ace this semester so I'm gonna work really hard this week! Gogo BQ!! Our best for all!

Its not that it isn't a precarious situation, and I know it doesn't make you the best a friend can be. All I'm telling you is, sometimes we give up so much and get so little in return, we make mistakes and get hurt but its all alright because we tried to make it work. Look at what I got from Robinsons today!!

The foundation which I have lemming for for a long, long time. Have to consider when you're spending close to $70 for a foundation ok! I got the MA to match me to my shade (which is one of the fairest yay!) and after trying it on I was sold. :D The satiny finish is good good good. If I remember right this has 40% water, which makes it a sheer coverage foundation much like tinted moisturizer! So glad I have all the reason in the world to throw out my revlon colourstay (but you have served me well) and I'm so glad I didn't purchase revlon's photoready, which loses out to teint miracle in every way.


It comes in a glass bottle, and a good pump which dispenses just the right amount! Awesome.


And after I got the teint miracle, we went over to benefit cause I wanted to look at the high beam. High beam is really nice! But in the end Angie and I wanted to hit $120 with our purchases so I bought the more pricey girl meets pearl instead, and angie got Finding Mr Bright @ $65, which has high beam, posietint, erase paste and girl meets pearl too. (is really just a box full of their best sellers) I HAVE FOUND A NEW MAKEUP KAKI HAHAHA. And I got the MA to give us a small bottle of high beam and porefessional (for angie), so I could have girl meets pearl and high beam. :D Do i like both? Yes, but I do prefer high beam. Gives more of that silvery highlight I am looking for rather than girl meets pearl's golden pinky sheen (which I think will be nicer on tanned people. Like wy HAHA). Both are fantastic, though!

I've also got myself a dresser, so I'm really excited to get it shifted into my room and sorting out all my hair and makeup stuff on the dresser. I think I might get high beam in the full size when I finish the small one! And oh, while at benefit today I got to try out the bella bamba, which I am relieved to say, didn't tempt me to get because it is almost exactly an Orgasm dupe. The MA said I looked good in it but meh, I will NOT be swayed! I've also got my first mineralized blush from MAC, Love Thing, so I am blush happy. Actually after today's purchases, I am really just makeup happy. ^^




A big hole in my pockets, but still happy :D :D :D
